Tax justice activists (LtoR) Onyinye Okechukw from Nigeria, Sharon Kabwe Chileshe from Zambia, Wanjiru Kanyiha from Kenya joined Oxfam campaigners at Leinster House in Dublin today to highlight how public services like schools and hospitals are the missing pieces in people’s lives when countries lose out through corporate tax dodging. They were marking the launch of a new report from Oxfam Ireland which details the human cost of a global toxic tax system and provides practical solutions to stem the negative effects of corporate tax avoidance, including closing tax loopholes and establishing an international tax body.
