09/05/2018 Guinness World Record Holder Goes Bright For Sight Inspirational blind sporting hero and marathon runner Dr Sinead Kane was joined by some little pals decked out in their sunniest yellow to launch Sightsavers Bright for Sight campaign this morning, peering out from a colourful criss-crossing clothes lines laden down with all the yellow dresses, trousers, shirts, socks and jocks you need to go Bright for Sight. Taking place on Friday June 22nd the charity is asking people from across Ireland to go Bright for Sight for the day, by wearing something yellow and making a donation to Sightsavers. Why yellow? Because yellow is the colour that stands out most to people with visual impairments.
