30/09/2020 Breast Cancer Ireland (BCI) for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Paused earlier this year due to the pandemic, the complimentary service relaunches during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the annual international health campaign to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The BCI coordinators, all of whom are breast cancer survivors, share their personal stories to educate on how to perform a self-breast examination and highlight the signs and symptoms to recognise.
