28/12/2020 Mick Quinlan and Val Forde with Ted the dog, from Terenure, pictured at the illuminated forest walk at Marlay Park. The one-kilometre trail amongst the trees is fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies and is an oasis of calm beneath the twinkling lights. It was so popular for Christmas that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council are now keeping it open into the new year. It is open Monday to Friday from 4pm to 8pm and free.
