25/09/2014 Today, Thursday, 25th September former social diarist, Dermott Hayes launched his debut Novel TITO'S DEAD. TITO'S DEAD is a fast paced crime mystery set in Sarajevo and Dublin and follows undercover, Europol cop, Bernard Nolan, on a manhunt to find a killer and expose a crime syndicate that stretches across a continent and into high office, against a backdrop of treachery and double dealing where he can trust no-one and time is running out. Dermott Hayes worked for 25 years as a journalist and contributed to most national titles in Ireland. Dermott held the position of social diarist for the Evening Herald through the rise of the so called 'Celtic Tiger' and concluded his time in journalism as Show Business Editor for Ireland on Sunday (now Ireland's Mail on Sunday). Today, Dermott is a well known waiter on the Dublin restaurant scene, dedicating the majority of his time writing.
