Airbnb, the world's leading community driven hospitality company, has today launched a report highlighting the positive social and economic impact of the Airbnb community on regional and rural Ireland. Entitled 'Home-Sharing: Empowering Regional and Rural Ireland', it was launched by Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Heather Humphreys TD, at an Airbnb listing in her own constituency of County Monaghan. It shows that the Airbnb community contributed an estimated euro 74 million to regional and rural communities across Ireland in the last year.
